One of my favorite holidays is Halloween. I have probably made more than 50 Â costumes over the past 30 years.
I’ve made them for costume balls and for other people. I’ve made them for the Renaissance Festival and just about any occasion I could participate in.
This was one of my first costumes I made after my divorce. I also used the costume for a photo shot when I was modeling my hair. I also made a silver sequence mask and crown. I wore white gloves and wrist bands of angora too.
I had white leather ankle boots and put boa ringlets around the tops. I found the belt in a findings store that sold belly dancing costume materials.
When I danced, the silver streamers from the belt would sway back and forth and look like rain.
To finish off the touches of the costume, I found some great very long rhinestone earrings and oddly enough I had a rhinestone necklace and bracelet from when I was in high school.It was a fun costume to wear and I always got great compliments. I even won a costume contest once while wearing it and the prize was a weekend in Bakersfield at a Holiday Inn.
