Sculpy

I hand rolled and blended Sculpy clay to make the beads and the center pieces.

I would usually make a set: necklace, earrings and lapel pin.

Once the beads and focus pieces were made, they were baked in the oven at 250 degrees for 10-12 minutes and after they were cooled I would glaze them.

I would string them with complimentary beads and the total time to make the set was about 3 to 4 hours and the price was from $75 – 150 per set.

These were the original Sculpy earrings I began with in 1991. My brother Tony was making earrings one day when I drove up to Santa Rosa to visit with him and his wife Sandy. I was impressed he would have been interested in making earrings and when he gave me a pair of earrings he made it meant a lot to me. I still have the earrings and love to wear them because they remind me of all the fun times we shared together.
